Welcome to Broad Oak Stables. We are a residential community that cares for ponies and mares of exceptional quality.
Please read and abide by these rules to make Broad Oak Stables a safe and enjoyable place for all members!
Our fundamental governing rule is a strict "no asshole" policy. Determining whether one's status as an asshole will be at the discretion of the management, and once determined, said person banned from the parcel and all Broad Oaks associated groups.
Asshole-like behavior includes but is not limited to: ignoring stated limits; not taking "no" as an answer; insulting or personal attacks; arguing with management or other guests; causing unwanted drama; repeated and blatant disregard for the rules; intolerance; and interfering with ongoing role-play; repeated shouting in local; and/or the use of any griefer weapons or scripts.
Please do not interfere in ongoing scenes, respect the limits of others, have a good time, and contribute to the good time of others.
Broad Oak does not allow child avatars, child play, or actual children. Broad Oak is a human-based roleplay sim. We ask that avatars appear fully human or animal. Visitors are expected to follow all Broad Oak guidelines and rules. Read all the rules; ignorance is no excuse.
By entering Broad Oak Stables, you confirm that you are 18 years or older, both in real life and as a character in Second Life, and that you have read all of the rules and guidelines in this notecard, understand them, and agree to respect and abide by the them and the directions of the management.
Your avatar must be at least 60 (sixty) days old before we will even consider your application.
You are, however, free to visit and interact in Broad Oak Stables even if your avatar is younger than 60 days.
Any avatar that is judged to be immature in appearance will be ejected and banned immediately. This judgment is at the sole discretion of any Broad Oak Manager. Anyone playing the role of a child or playing with someone else who is playing the role of a child will be banned and reported to Linden Labs. We err on the side of caution and the law. Age play can be but is not limited to having a short avatar under 1.7 meters, having an undeveloped avatar, acting like a child, dressing like a child, wearing pigtails, and referring to someone else as "Daddy" or some other child-like term. Anyone with inappropriate child pictures or descriptions of age play in their profiles will be banned with or without notice.
The Broad Oak Stables staff reserves the right to determine what is and what is not age play, and there is no arguing or appeal.
Broad Oak Stables is a "No Drama Zone." Failure to follow rule, management instructions, arguing, or using abusive language will be grounds for immediate ejection and banning without recourse or appeal. In any dispute between a manager and a guest or member, the manager always wins. We will not debate these rules. If you take your argument publicly to the group chat, that is considered causing drama, and you will be banned.
Broad Oak Stables encourages all visitors to enjoy exploring their kinks fantasies here. No one shall be harassed or bullied outside whatever role-play they are enjoying. Insulting and personal attacks will not be tolerated. Ignoring limits and not responding to out-of-character requests to end the role play will not be tolerated. Interfering in ongoing role play will not be tolerated. Arguing with managers and guests will not be tolerated. Griefing and use weapons will not be tolerated. Bottom line - don't be an asshole - if we determine that you are, you will be banned from Broad Oaks and its associated groups.

Determining what is considered inappropriate speech is entirely up to the management, and their decision is final.
